Mike Shullman spent 37 years building a 21-location car wash business, Russell Speeders, with locations across the nation. After successfully selling the business to private equity in 2022, Mike didn't retire—he redirected his energy toward a new mission rooted in community empowerment. Through years of working with under-resourced communities, Mike saw how much heart and support already existed—food programs, childcare, housing, and essential services. Yet one critical piece was often missing: opportunity. Without strong local businesses and family-sustaining jobs, revitalization too often replaces people instead of lifting them. Today, Mike uses his operational expertise, capital, and hands-on mentorship to spark local economic engines that allow families to thrive where they already live. His mission is to help build sustainable businesses, create living-wage jobs, and enable communities to grow wealth that lasts for generations.
